Face-to-face | 20 stations
The IMG community widely recognises HEAL's face-to-face Clinical Trial Exam as the most realistic and valuable trial exam. It is held in a clinical location and uses trained role-players and examiners.
Each trial exam is conducted using the same format as that of the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Clinical Examination, with 16 Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) stations and four rest stations. The OSCEs cover medical, surgical, psychiatric, obstetrics & gynaecology and paediatric clinical situations.
Candidates receive three different forms of feedback from their HEAL trial exam:
- Two minutes of feedback from the Examiner at each station after the station has been completed,
- Candidates receive a copy of the written marking sheet from each station,
- At the conclusion of the exam, candidates attend a feedback session by the exam overseer who focuses on all of the clinical stations you just completed.
